What is the specification of the PC I should use for EyeCap?

Self build PC or PC from Shuttle / Barebone / Aopen / Dell /HP / Apple IMac with

Processor: Pentium Core 2 Duo >= 2.6 Ghz
Mainboard: Well know brand (e.g. ASUS, Aopen, Gigabyte) with Intel chipset
RAM: At least 2 GB of RAM (fastest compatible with main board use 2 memory modules)
Graphics card: Min. 256MB of own video memory of well know brand. Do NOT use the video capabilities of the mainboard (if available)
SATA harddisk: Min. 500 Gb with 7200 RPM or more  (for video capture larger is advised)
PCI slot full size: Min 1 (in case of capture card systems)
PCI-Express slot: Min 1 for video card
Firewire: Min 1 full 6 pin (In case you connect to the Sony Firewire cameras)
Ethernet: 100BaseT Ethernet connection (1 Gigabit Ethernet recommended)
USB 2.0: Min 2
OS: Windows XP Professional OS with SP3, .Net 2.0 Framework and all updates / Vista 32 Bit, International English version preferred.
Serial Port: One serial port, only for Canon CF60-DSi usage
Monitor: Good quality 17" or 19" LCD/TFT screen of which the maximum resolution is 1280x1024.
    -    NEC MultiSync LCD1770GX
    -    Sony SDM-HS95P
    -    DELL Ultrasharp blackpanel
    -    Samsung SyncMaster 971P

Important note 1    : A good backup system
Important note 2    : For medical safety an isolation transformer might be needed
