1. The installation of the CM/IM900 has been performed correctly without any errors and still the LED on the camera is RED

13. Does the IM/CM 900 require 2GB memory
    We recommend that PC running IM and CM should have a minimum 2GB RAM. If only 1GB is available then the PC should have a separate graphics card. (i.e. Cannot share graphics with RAM).

17. What is the file size of the IM900 images
    The file size for BMP images is roughly 5.4 MB. The files size of JPEG images depends on the applied compression ratio and complexity of the image.
18. Why should I use an eyepiece with the cross hairs?
    For normal use the eyepieces of all slit lamps should be set with the test rod supplied to compensate for your accommodation. Each user should do this and they may also have to take into account that their eyes may change during the course of a working day.
19. Can I leave the power on the IM900 on all the time or should I switch it off. i.e. unit used on a unit. (Power from unit or power in correlation with slit lamp)
    IM900 should be powered by the unit and not switch on and off as this could present problems with the PC connection. We have seen that in some cases the RM-01 of the IM900 needs to be powered before the PC is switched on. The camera will only be on when the PC is on, despite the power from the unit.
20. What is the field of view
    The camera captures approximately the same view as seen through the slit lamp. To be more specific, the horizontal view is close to the width of the image with a very small cut off at the top and bottom. This is because the image through the slit lamp is circular.
