EyeCap Digital Pro

EyeCap™ Digital Pro is a complete image capture and management system that has been developed with cooperation from several leading ophthalmic clinicians, ophthalmic photographers as a means to simply, accurately and securely document the eye using the fundus camera.

EyeCap™ Digital Pro has all the features and functionality of EyeCap Digital and in addition offers capture of FA images with the fundus camera, timer, black and white conversion, PDT measurement, WARP overlay.

EyeCap Digital Pro has been designed in cooperation with Canon and is specifically designed to work with the renowned 60 degree models already in the market place (CF60UD, CF60UV, CF60UVi or the new cameras marketed by Canon (CF-1, CF60DSi). Images with high resolution may be captured with the current range of EOS cameras and provide extremely high quality images with brilliant colour fidelity, contrast and tone range, and are capable of recording the finest of pathology.

The images are viewed on the monitor as acquired into EyeCap where they can be reviewed and optimized using the various processing tools that include an image capture timer. A unique archiving and image resizing method has been developed to facilitate the storage of large volumes of the high quality images on-line which provides fast track access to images from any patient visit and allows for rapid comparison of all of the patient’s examinations. All images are stored in a secure environment but can be easily exported for referral or teaching and used with other applications and third party software.
